Public comment went well into the night as one of the largest crowds in years packed Colorado Springs City Hall. Council chambers and two extra rooms all overflowed. Some offices in the building were opened to accommodate people. It was estimated more than 500 people showed up for the public comment session on the tens of million in cuts city council has to make on the 2010 city budget.

Council listened but did not debate suggestions. They will start making their decision on what to cut November 9th.
