Last night the three Texas Roadhouse locations in El Paso County donated 10% of their proceeds to Allen Rose's widow and two children, raising $5,289, according to managers at each of the three restaurants.
Rose was killed on the job in February. He was dragged behind an SUV while working to tow it.
Here is a breakdown of the results from each of the three restaurants:
8th St. location in the Springs: $1,504
Powers location in the Springs: $2,200; $1,500 from their sales and another $700 collected in a donation jar they set out
Monument location: $1,585
If you couldn't make it out but would still like to help, there's a fund set up at Key Bank, just ask for the "Allen Rose memorial fund."
