After another day of record, and close to record highs on Wednesday, the weather will change.
Cooler air is advancing from the north, with 2 cold fronts racing in from the west to bring gusty winds, showers, thunderstorms, mountain snow and cooler temperatures to the News 5 viewing area.
Thursday: Windy at times. Chance for thunderstorms later. Some may become severe, especially near Kansas.
Friday: Chance of showers early, then increasing sunshine and not as warm. Breezy winds.
Saturday/Sunday: Mixed clouds and sun with low-elevation showers and mountain snowflakes. Highs 50s/60s.
Monday: Breezy and warmer. 20% chance of storms. Highs 60s/70s.
Tuesday: A bit warmer. A few PM storms. Highs 70s.
Wednesday; Sunny early. Partly cloudy in the afternoon and evening. Highs 70s/80s.
