Dozens of people opposed to three ballot measures designed to cut taxes rallied in Colorado Springs Wednesday.
Amendment 60, Amendment 61 and Proposition 101 are championed by proponents of small government. Amendment 60 would limit property taxes. Amendment 61 would halt most government borrowing. Proposition 101 would cut taxes and fees, which have ballooned over the past two years as the legislature has dealt with budget shortfalls.
But opponents say the proposals go too far and will cripple government services.
The three measures are on the November ballot.
