A memorial has been scheduled in Pueblo, to honor nine homeless men who have died over the past year. The event includes an open mic section, where anyone can share their memories of those who have passed away. The ceremony is organized each year by Posada, an agency that helps the homeless in our community.

The Pueblo Homeless Memorial Service will be held on June 1 at Noon at the outdoor educational center on the Pueblo riverwalk--that's near Santa Fe and Grand Ave.

The memorial will honor the following individuals:

Lloyd Arnold Jr.

Forrest Elbeck Sr.

Alfred Calderon

James Walling

Gerald (Jerry) Flege

Gary S. Lochard

Gilbert Ortega Jr.

Brett Ekker

Mark Easton
