One woman dies in rollover accident on I-25

One woman was killed in a rollover accident south of Pueblo Wednesday night.
Pueblo police say the accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. on I-25 between mile markers 93 and 94. Officers say 44 year old Ricky DeHerrera was driving his Chevy Monte Carlo north on the interstate when he lost control going around a curve in the road. The vehicle rolled several times throwing both DeHerrera and his passenger, Irene Cordova, from the vehicle. They were both taken to Parkview Hospital where Cordova was pronounced dead. DeHerrera was last listed in critical condition.
Police are still investigating the cause, but they say it looks like alcohol and speed may have been involved.
