One dead in shooting in Monument

One person was shot and killed Monday afternoon at the Big O Tire store in Monument. We've learned the victim was an employee there.
Sheriff's detectives say he was shot several times. The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. and by just before 5, one person had been taken into custody. We're told the man arrested was 18 years old. The victim was 50 years old, and an employee of the store. No names have been released.
Investigators say there was a fight inside the tire shop involving three people. The fight went outside, and that's when the shots were fired.
The people at Big O Tires declined to comment. The store will be closed Tuesday.
