With less than a month to go until the first weekend of the 2014 Rocky Mountain State Games opening weekend in Colorado Springs, more than 4,000 athletes of all ages and skill levels have registered to compete in the state's largest and most enjoyable sports festival.
A total of 4,086 athletes from across the state have signed up to compete for medals, or just enjoy an event designed to give every athlete a chance to have some memorable moments.
Lacrosse, a new sport added for 2014 has already registered 66 teams and 1,452 athletes. The Sports Corp is working with Adrenaline to put together what may be the largest single-sports field in the history of the State Games.
Athletes still have time to register in any of the 42 sports offered with the exception of swimming, which has nearly 250 athletes registered for its competition at the U.S. Olympic Training Center Aquatics venue.
Athletes can register at: www.rockymountainstategames.org They can also check the looming registration deadlines at this site.
Early registration is still open, so to take advantage of these discounts, register today!
