One dead in Arkansas building collapse

MORRILTON, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a young girl has died and several other people are injured after a building collapsed in central Arkansas.
Conway County Sheriff Mike Smith says rescue teams are searching the wreckage of the building in downtown Morrilton for any other people trapped inside. He says he believes most have escaped from the building Monday.
Smith says one girl died in the collapse and several others have been taken to nearby hospitals. It's not clear how many people were inside the building or what caused it to collapse.
Morrilton is about 55 miles west of Little Rock.
