I just got back from an interview at the city planning department and found out the old Pueblo Police Department building may be renovated after it's vacated. The City of Pueblo is working with private developer Gary Anzuini, who wants to turn the 3-story building into office, retail and residential space. The building was built in 1948 and is located along Gateway Park--the newest section of the Pueblo riverwalk.

You also may be curious about what's happening with the old health department building. I'm on my way to do an interview with the HARP Authority to hopefully learn more. More to come.
