Officers arrest 1440 DUI suspects in Labor Day crackdown

Law enforcement officers in Colorado arrested 1440 suspected drunk drivers during the 19 day Labor Day Weekend Heat is On enforcement period from August 17 - September 4.
There were 139 DUI arrests made in the Pikes Peak Regoin by the Colorado Springs Police Department (85), Colorado State Patrol Troop 2C (20), El Paso County Sheriff's Office (19), Fountain Police Department (8), and Manitou Springs Police Department (1).
The State Patrol also made 3 arrests in Cripple Creek, and Woodland Park reported 3 DUI arrests as well.
Police officers and sheriff's deputies in Pueblo arrested 24 people for DUI (Pueblo PD 16, Pueblo County SO 8).
