Officer struck by vehicle, suspect still at large

One Colorado Springs police officer was treated at and, subsequently, released from the hospital after being struck by a vehicle. Early Saturday morning, officers contacted the driver of a suspicious looking vehicle that had a stolen license plate.
When the officer attempted to detain the driver, she sped away trying to escape and hit the officer with her car. A short pursuit began until she crashed the vehicle near the intersection of Virginia and Nichols.
The suspect then fled on foot and has not been located.
