Lt. Pat Rigdon, Colorado Springs Police Department, says that "Occupy" protestors in Acacia Park were issued a warning stating that camping on public property is prohibited around 7:15 am on Sunday morning. Soon after, members of the movement tore down the tents by 9 am and no police hands were needed to tare down the tents.

Rigdon mentioned that protestors were "very cooperative" and were not confrontational.

At this time, Rigdon also mentioned no arrests have been made and no tickets issues, only the warning, which led to the tent tare down.

HOT (Homeless Outreach Team) members were out in the park last night and this morning.
