A New York City man says FBI investigators who raided several city apartments in an anti-terrorism probe questioned him about a childhood friend who lives in Denver who stayed with him last week.

Naiz Khan says he didn't know of any connections his friend had to terrorism. He referred to his friend only as Najibullah.

Khan says Najibullah asked to stay at his house last Thursday, saying he was having trouble with his permit for a coffee truck he had operated in New York.

Khan says FBI agents came to his home early Monday and asked who Naizbullah was and when he arrived.

Officials say the raids on three city apartments happened after a man under surveillance for possible terrorist links visited New York City and left the area.
