NY newspaper reports Carmelo is meeting with the Nets

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - The New York Daily News is reporting that New Jersey Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov is meeting with Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony in Los Angeles.
The newspaper also said in a story on its website that minority owner Jay-Z was involved in the meeting.
A spokeswoman for the Russian billionaire released an update earlier Saturday saying that Prokhorov had not met with Anthony and has no plans to meet with the All-Star forward.
The Nets and Nuggets recently renewed trade talks for Anthony for the third time this season. Anthony can become a free agent after this season.
