NEW YORK (AP) - A New York accountant has admitted stealing more than $1 million from actress Tamara Tunie and the Kansas City Symphony's music director.
For more than a decade, Joseph Cilibrasi was the business manager for the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit"
actress.
He pleaded guilty Thursday to grand larceny and other charges.
The 51-year-old expects to get 2 1/2 to 7 1/2 years in prison at a Jan. 4 sentencing.
Authorities say Cilibrasi admitted bilking about $1.4 million from Tunie. They say he secretly opened a credit card account in her name and wrote checks from her bank accounts without her permission.
He also acknowledged stealing about $75,000 from the Kansas City Symphony's Michael Stern.
