Nuggets waive recently acquired Turiaf

DENVER (AP) - The Denver Nuggets have waived center Ronny Turiaf, who was acquired Thursday in a three-team trade with the Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Clippers.
The Nuggets sent the talented yet often-injured Nene to Washington in the deal, with the Wizards shipping JaVale McGee and Turiaf to Denver and Nick Young to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Turiaf played four games with the Wizards this season.
