Determining the nine-man rotation became a straightforward process for Nuggets coach Brian Shaw after shootaround Thursday.
That's because he will have only nine available players when the Nuggets face the Brooklyn Nets at Pepsi Center.
Starting forward Wilson Chandler was held out of practice Wednesday and continued to experience pain in his right knee while going through shootaround Thursday. The initial diagnosis was a sprain, with a further examination scheduled.
Chandler, averaging 13.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in 48 games this season, said he first felt some discomfort in the knee during Denver's game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
Shaw planned to use the afternoon to determine who would start in Chandler's place at small forward.
Chandler joins Darrell Arthur (hip), Danilo Gallinari (knee), Ty Lawson (rib), JaVale McGee (leg) and Nate Robinson (knee) on the list of players recovering from injury. So far this season, the Nuggets as a team have missed 176 games due to injury or illness.
