Nuggets are quiet on draft night

DENVER (AP) - The Denver Nuggets sat this one out - again.

While teams across the NBA augmented their rosters Thursday night, the Nuggets failed to trade into the first or second rounds of the draft and came up empty.

Rex Chapman, vice president of player personnel, says the front office was disappointed it wasn't able to pull off a deal to draft a big man. He says the Nuggets now will look at undrafted frontcourt players for their summer league team.

This is the second time in the last four years that the Nuggets didn't make a selection in the draft.
