Not as hot Sunday

A cool front will provide for a cooler day on Sunday. Expect Sunday afternoon high temperatures to be 5-10 degrees less hot compared to Saturday afternoon. Moisture for afternoon thunderstorms will push farther south Sunday afternoon, this will cut off thunderstorm chances for the metro cities in southern Colorado for Sunday. Only an isolated storm or two will pop in the mountains. A few storms will return for Monday. The best chance for thunderstorms over the next 7 days will be midweek.

Sunday Forecast:

Colorado Springs: Partly cloudy in the afternoon, high 85

Pueblo: A mostly sunny day, high 90

Monument: Partly cloudy in the afternoon, high 82

Teller County: Partly cloudy, high 75
