NORTHCOM colonel nominated for promotion to general

An Air Force colonel assigned to the U.S. Northern Command has been nominated for promotion to brigadier general.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced the nomination this week for Col. Kenneth E. Todorov. Todorov is executive officer to the commander of Northcom, which oversees the U.S. military's homeland defense and supports civilian authorities.
Northcom's headquarters are at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs.
