COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Six different players scored and Danny Kristo assisted on three goals as fourth-ranked North Dakota rolled over Colorado College 6-0 on Saturday.
With the win, the Fighting Sioux (19-8-2, 14-6-0) earned a split of the two-game weekend series and moved into sole possession of first place in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. North Dakota has 28 points, one more than idle Denver and Minnesota-Duluth.
North Dakota rode a four-goal second period to its third win in its last four games at Colorado College (15-12-1, 9-9-0).
Brock Nelson, Brett Hextall, Carter Rowney, Matt Frattin, Derrick LaPoint and Joe Gleason scored for the Fighting Sioux.
Goalie Aaron Dell faced just 20 shots to record his fourth shutout.
Colorado College goalies Joe Howe and Josh Thorimbert combined for 26 saves.
