KRISTIANSAND, Norway (AP) - A journalist who's a priest in the Church of Norway says the suspect in Friday's bombing and shootings that killed scores of Norwegians claimed to be only a cultural Christian.

The Rev. Arne Fjeldstad (AHR'-ne FEEL'-stud), CEO of the Media Project, says Anders Behring Breivik stated the nature of his Christianity in a manifesto he posted online just hours before the attacks.

Fjeldstad says Breivik wrote that he was not a religious Christian who had "a personal relationship with Jesus Christ," but that he believed in Christianity as a "cultural social identity."

Fjeldstad says he and other Norwegian Christians condemn Breivik, just as most Muslims disavow terrorists who claim to act in the name of Islam.
