The pilot of a small personal airplane came too close to the President and First Family this weekend and was intercepted by a pair of F-15E fighters.
According to news release from the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), the jets were scrambled shortly after 8:30 a.m. Sunday when the pilot of a Cessna 182 was out of radio communication and had crossed into a Temporary Flight Restricted area.
The fighters escorted the plane to the Carroll County Regional Airport in Maryland. President Barack Obama and his family are staying at Camp David this weekend.
