Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station says there was no threat from a truck that triggered an explosives detection system earlier this afternoon. We are awaiting a statement with more information. We were told initially that there was no threat by the El Paso County Sheriff's office, but that explosives experts were being called to make sure.
Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station is the former home of NORAD, and the road is still named NORAD Rd.
