The Colorado Springs-based North America Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the Russian Air Force plan to conduct a joint air defense exercise in August.
The focus will be combating terrorism.
This exercise will take place in both Russian and U.S. airspace, over Alaska and Russia.
