United Airlines will soon begin a new non-stop flight from the Colorado Springs Airport to Dulles Airport near Washington, D.C.
An official announcement will be made at 8 a.m. Wednesday. The flight will leave daily just before 9 a.m. and return around 8:30 p.m. It's the only non-stop flight from Colorado Springs to the Washington area. Airport officials expect it to be popular with business people as well as members of the military. With a two week advance purchase the round trip fair runs less than $500.
