Continued hot weather will be the main story over the next several days in southern Colorado. Very little chance for a thunderstorm is expect on the plains this week. Really the only day with a chance for a storm will be on Thursday. The mountains will continue to have a slight chance for a storm each and every afternoon. As the dry weather continues over the next several days the drought on the eastern plains of Colorado will only get worse.
Tuesday forecast:
Colorado Springs: Mostly sunny, light winds, high 90
Pueblo: Abundant sunshine, light winds, high 98
Monument: Just a few clouds, light winds, high 84
Teller County: A 20% chance for an afternoon or evening storm, high 74
