SAN DIEGO (AP) - The San Diego Chargers could find themselves in a sticky situation. The NFL is investigating whether the Chargers used banned sticky stuff in their loss last Monday to the Denver Broncos. Fox Sports first reported the investigation yesterday. In 1981, the NFL banned Stickum and other sticky goo. Old school fans will remember that Raiders cornerback Lester Hayes practically covered himself in the stuff. If league officials determine San Diego violated the ban, the Chargers could be fined or lose a draft pick.
