News 5 on losing longtime Sports Director, Lee Douglas

"Today, we share with you the news of the sudden loss of our beloved Sports Director, Lee Douglas.
Lee was a legend in this town...but in addition to being a respected, knowledgeable sports authority, he was also a man with a huge heart.
Although he had a big personality, he had the kindest, gentlest manner about him and was universally loved inside and outside KOAA.
It's sadly ironic that this news comes on Super Bowl Sunday, but losing someone you're this close to-any day-is heartbreaking.
Here at KOAA 5, we were lucky enough to have him for nearly 30 years.
And for that, we are forever grateful.
I know you join us in sending our love and prayers to his family.
We'll miss you, Lee.
You were the best."
