Wednesday afternoon, House Rep. Lois Landgraf of Fountain informed News 5 her bill aimed to crack down on the sale of synthetic cannabis was introduced in the legislature.
Landgraf is asking lawmakers to add the sale of synthetic cannabis to the Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
If passed, convenience store owners who continue to sell the dangerous drug could face fines between $10,000 and $500,000 per incident.
We'll continue to follow her bill as it makes its way through the legislature.
