It's a new way for students to travel through Pueblo, plus it will boost the city's economy.

The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Pueblo Class of 2012 pulled together with CSU-Pueblo to create a shuttle service called REDLINE.

All students with a valid ID will be able to hop on the shuttle and visit local grocery stores, restaurants, businesses, movies, and community events like the Colorado State Fair.

It all starts at the beginning of the fall semester.

Route times and locations will be adjusted as needed, but there is an initial schedule they will use.

REDLINE will run Thursday and Friday evenings at 5-11 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 10 p.m.

The current route will begin at Resident Hall Oval and proceed to Walgreens (Bonforte), Pueblo Mall (Entrance by Sears and JC Penney), Applebees (Elizabeth), Starbucks (HWY 50), Walmart (Dillon Drive), Tinseltown, Pueblo Crossing (Kohls), and Angelos (Riverwalk downtown).

The shuttle will run every two hours starting at the start time for each day.
