New MLB policy on sexual orientation discrimination

Major League Baseball is adopting a new policy that will specifically prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation.

The league plans to announce the policy during the All Star game today.

A workplace code of conduct will be distributed to all major and minor league players.

New training sessions will be provided, and a centralized complaint system will be created to report any harassment and discrimination.
