El Paso County Sheriff Terry Maketa will release more information Thursday morning about the arrests of the father and girlfriend of a child whose body was found stuffed in the crawl space of a Monument home.

Hanif Sims and Monique Lynch were taken into custody in Henderson, Nevada Wednesday afternoon. They've been sought for more than a month, after the body of Genesis Sims was discovered by workers renovating a home.

Local detectives have been sent to Nevada to interview the pair.
