New info: Pedestrian killed in Pueblo was woman

Pueblo Police say the pedestrian killed by a car last night was a woman. She was around 50-years-old. Her name has not been released because family members have not been notified.
Police told Georgiann Lymberopoulos that the driver of the car that hit the woman stopped immediately. Alcohol and speed are not thought to be contributing factors in the crash. However, police say alcohol use by the victim could have contributed to the incident.
The accident happened on 4th Street between Joplin Ave. and Kingston Ave.
More than one vehicle may have struck the woman, although that is still being investigated.
