Pueblo's newest fire station opens officially next week on Pueblo's southwest side. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Wednesday at 11 a.m.
The new station is located at 4527 Surfwood. It was moved from a location on Aster.
The new fire station cost around $2 million. It was paid for by taxes levied on the new Comanche III power station that began generating electricity in the spring.
