Jennifer Horbelt comes to KOAA from WPSD in Paducah, Kentucky where she began her career as reporter, moved rapidly to morning show anchor and most recently, evening anchor of the station's award-winning 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscast.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Jennifer was a Broadcasting major at the University of Tennessee. She has a passion for journalism, music and the outdoors.

"She loves Colorado and is excited to become an active member in the communities we serve."
Like most people who live here, Jennifer is enthralled with the beauty of Southern Colorado. She is also bursting with enthusiasm over joining News 5. "I knew the moment I stepped off the plane in Colorado, that this is where I wanted to be" she said.
Jennifer will begin anchoring News 5 Today on Monday, December 19th.
