Nene sidelined with groin injury

DENVER (AP) - Nuggets center Nene missed the game Wednesday night against the Dallas Mavericks with a strained left groin.
Nene was bothered by the injury near the end of a win over Houston on Saturday. He's listed as day-to-day.
The Nuggets are already banged-up in the frontcourt with Kenyon Martin and Chris "Birdman" Andersen recovering from off season knee surgeries that are expected to keep them sidelined for a while.
Nene is averaging 10.3 points and 6.7 rebounds.
