The Neiman Marcus Christmas Book is known for the kinds of gifts you can't find anywhere else. The 2010 edition has just been released.
For the music lover, there's a $6,500 dollar ukulele made out of gourds.
For the sports car enthusiast there's the 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible, seen by the public for the first time Tuesday. The $75,000 Neiman Marcus edition is deep bordeaux with amber leather interior and 426 horses under the hood.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Neiman Marcus His and Hers gifts, so if you're looking for the perfect gift for your spouse, how about a his and hers houseboat? At just under 600 square feet the houseboat built by Metroship costs $250,000 and is billed as the ultimate romantic retreat.
Topping the luxury list this year is a $1.5 million Chihuly glass pool installation by the world-renowned artist. "The art work is actually recessed below the surface, and aquarium glass is placed on the artwork so you can walk right on top of it, and swim above it and it's really an opportunity to transform a swimming pool into a work of art," says Chihuly Studio's Janet Makelo. The creative process takes a year from start to finish.
There's also a life-sized gingerbread house with a mortgage of $15,000. It's entirely edible, or you can seal it and keep it forever. It's delivered completely built.
