DENVER (AP) - Denver officials are trying to find more help for the homeless after nearly 700 people died over the past 12 years.
The victims range in age from a newborn to a person who was 90 years old. The death toll only includes unattended deaths recorded by the Denver coroner's office.
According to the Denver Post, details are being tracked by Denver officials and volunteer agencies to help them make policy decisions addressing the needs of the homeless.
