The natural gas line that serves Walsenburg has now been repaired, but it will take days to get all the pilot lights turned back on.
The pipe broke Tuesday. It was a 6 inch line near I-25 near Aguilar.
The line has been fixed, but work crews must now go door-to-door to turn gas meters back on and light pilot lights on furnaces and water heaters. That process will begin tonight, but it could be Monday before all natural gas is restored in Walsenburg.
