Natural gas line severed in Colorado Springs

A construction crew severed a natural gas line in the north-central area of Colorado Springs.

The 3/4-inch line, in the 2200 block of Rockhurst Blvd., has prompted the shut-down of gas to the line. A good breeze vented the gas that escaped. Colorado Springs Utilities crews are working to fix the line.

No one has been injured.

There are no evacuations.
