Local residents will have the opportunity to learn Native American beading from a woman of Jicarilla Apache decent. Connie Garcia will teach a two-day class, on Wednesday and Thursday, at El Pueblo History Museum.

The hands-on workshop will teach the lazy squaw stitch, with class members completing a rosette.

Cost for tuition and materials is $40. Pre-registration is required so materials may be purchased.

Call 719-583-0453 to register or request more information.
