The Pueblo Zoo has added two bald eagles which were injured in the wild. Parker and Freedom arrived at the zoo in May from Utah. Freedom the larger of the pair is a female, Parker is a male.

The eagles were found malnourished and injured. Both of them had wing amputations to save their lives.

The pair is doing much better now, however neither will be able to fly again.

You can see the eagles at the zoo's Woods exhibit.
