The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating multiple shootings that happened over night.One occurred on the 100 block Bonfoy Ave. this morning, around 12:15 a.m.
Police say the victim was shot during a home invasion robbery, and suffered a single gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening injuries.
The victim says three were involved in the robbery. Police say they are still on the loose.
They are still continuing their investigation.
In another shooting, Police responded to accidental shooting on South Hancock.
The caller said he was cleaning his handgun, when the weapon fired. It hit one person in the apartment, who was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the three people in the apartment were drinking before the accident.
One person was cited for Prohibited Uses of a Weapon, and released.
A bullet hole was also found in a building in the 900 block of Yuma St.
No one was injured, and officials say one person is in custody.
