Multiple people and one dog treated for knife-inflicted injuries after fight

Early Sunday morning Colorado Springs police responded to a fight involving about eight people in the 3600 block of Hayman Court, near S. Chelton Road and E. Pikes Peak Ave.

It was just after midnight; police found two men bleeding outside. They also found blood stains in the street, driveway and front door area. Police say a man and woman were in an argument, but then other people intervened.

A police report says a fight broke out, leaving two men with "cutting injuries." The men were treated and released at the scene.

According to the report, the man and woman involved in the original argument went to a local hospital for treatment; the man was treated for non-life threatening stabbing injuries.

Police say a dog may have also been stabbed in the incident; they say a pit bull was treated at a local veterinary hospital.

No arrests have been made.
