Multiple charges a day after crime spree along Powers Boulevard

The man who went on a crime spree along Powers Boulevard on Wednesday evening faces multiple felony charges. Ivan Stamps appeared before a judge for advisement Thursday afternoon.
The charges he faces include robbery, multiple counts of assault with a deadly weapon and attempting to influence a public servant. He is being held on $25,000 bond.
Colorado Springs police investigators say that Stamps is responsible for multiple crime scenes. The arrest affidavit shows he was initially spotted in a stolen vehicle by the State Patrol. He fled and ditched that car. It says he then carjacked an SUV and tried to rob a bank along Powers Boulevard. The chase and crash finally came to an end when he ran the SUV into a police barricade.
