Multi-sport athlete at Pueblo East is selected "Athlete of the Week"

The high school basketball season is here and for the first time this school year a basketball player has been selected as the "Loaf ‘N Jug Gatorade High School Athlete of the Week." Congratulations to Pueblo East senior Holly Carter.
Holly is one of the Eagles best sharpshooters; she has been since she was a freshman. She was an All-South Central League selection a year ago. She's also one of the best volleyball players in the state.
Off the court Holly is also a standout. She is on student council, takes International Baccalaureate classes, takes classes at Pueblo Community College and carries a 4.0 grade point average. After graduation Holly plans on attending veterinarian school.
