For those of you who are ready for the heat to be over, there's good news come Tuesday. We have a cold front that will move through the area tonight/Tuesday AM. This front will drop our highs by as much as 20-25 degrees. This means highs on Tuesday will be in the mid/upper 70s for Springs, and low 80s for Pueblo. With the front also comes more cloud cover and some scattered showers.
As we get behind the front Wednesday, temperatures will slowly start to creep back up to more seasonal averages for the rest of the week. But we'll also keep some showers in the forecast each and every day. There's a better chance for these showers Wednesday, but a few spotty ones Thursday and Friday will definitely be seen.
Hope you had a great 4th weekend... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
