Much cooler weather will shape Thursday on the plains in southern Colorado. A shallow pool of cool air slid down the Front Range Wednesday evening, this will leave the plains cooler but mountains will only be cool a couple degrees Thursday. Storms will fire over the mountains early in the afternoon, and then roll onto the adjacent plains by mid afternoon. The 7 day forecast will stay on the cooler side with temperatures around average if not a little below.
Thursday forecast:
Colorado Springs: Cooler with a 20% chance for a pm storm, high 75
Pueblo: Much cooler today, 20% chance for a pm storm, high 68
Monument: Low clouds, cooler, 20% chance for a storm high 71
Teller County: 30% chance for a storm, high 68
